I always thought that dream must mean something really significant. In retrospect, I think I just read this book way too many times. However, it seems that some dreams really do have meanings. So which ones tell you you're about to get rich?...
According to this rather fascinating website, here are a few of the subjects that might spell serious financial loss - or gain:
In Chinese culture, dreaming that you're bleeding isn't as negative as you might think: It means you're likely to receive huge rewards. And if an ancestor speaks to you in a dream, it spells financial security.
However, if you dream a chariot has lost a wheel, you're about to lose money.
And it seems that dogs often seem to spell bad luck all round. If you're bitten by a dog in your dreams, it means ill fortune in real life. While if a dog barks at you, you could be in for big monetary losses.
Colour me rich
When it comes to dreaming in technicolour, it's all about visualising gold and burgundy. If you see either of these colours in your dreams, you can look forward to wealth, riches and achievement.
Think of a number... and then try to dream about it, too. If the number eight comes to you in your sleep, wealth and material gains are likely to be just around the corner.
Eagles are known to be fantastic, sharp-eyed hunters. If you dream about an eagle (or if you dream you are one!) this indicates you are, and will continue to be, a good provider for your family.
The loss is symbolic
Ironically, dreaming that you've lost your wallet doesn't actually mean anything of the sort! In fact, this sort of dream - particularly if it recurs - means that a different sort of change is happening in your life.
For example, you might be worried about getting older, mourning the loss of a loved one, or be in the process of moving houses or jobs.
