Fears for 600 Thomson Airways jobs

Thomas Cook employ 20 pilots for each aircraft in their fleet - Thompson only 10 - so their operating costs for pilots is double that of Thompson and Thompson aircraft manage an average of 13 hours in every 24 in the air - Thomas Cook only 9 hours in 24 - over a year this makes a huge difference in operating costs even assuming ALL their other costs were the same

We traveled with Thompson last year nad had a 19hour delayon return flight.
I said I wouldnt go with then again.
Shud have told the wife !!!!
She's just booked with Thompson to go away on Saturday lol

YOU KNOW WE HAVE BEEN TRAVELING WITH THOMSONS FOR A LONG LONG TIME AND HAVE ALWAYS FOUND THE SERVICE SECOND TO NONE AND IF WE HAVE TO PAY MORE FOR THIS SERVICE THEN WE WILL BECAUSE WE HAVE FOUND YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR IN LIFE,
PAY PEANUTS AND YOU GET MONKEYS AS THEY SAY

Thomson flights are some of the highest to the Canary Islands for this year,

We have always used Thomson, but this year it will be another airline.

Is this the reason for losing staff and its customers, rather than the reason given.

Less flight personnel who then work like slaves on short flights.

Don't suppose there would be any chance of them keeping the staff and improving the service
