I agree that fuel prices are at the top of the hate list for me and other motorists, but a succession of anti-car useless transport ministers with no plan for the future of motoring aside from lining the pockets of the Treasury so it can waste the money on unrelated projects must run it a pretty close second.
February 20 2012 at 7:49 AM Report abuse Permalink +2 rate up rate down ReplyMy fuel warning light is constantly on these days. I Put £10 unleaded in my car to do a regular journey of about 35 miles return trip and by the time I was half way home the warning light was on again! I wish I had an alternative to my car but its just not possible due to the times I travel and the equipment I need to carry for work sometimes. Its now getting to the point where the cost of living is so high that I might now have to give up my home and share with somebody else which as a 40 year old working man is disgusting. All I want to do with my wage is get by and I can't even do that now thanks to this privilaged government and its idea that the working class are there to serve them amd make up for their economic failures. These austerity measures are finishing people, do they not understand that?

Sod it this Country is so messed up and there's no incentive to work anymore!

February 20 2012 at 6:43 AM Report abuse Permalink +2 rate up rate down ReplySuch a simple way to get the Country moving again get the price of Fuel down, Just look at the roads there's no Traffic on them!!! This is chaos, Look at the increased costs for everyone especially the Plumber,Milkman, everyone who needs this for their Living, And no, Ed Balls would not bring the cost of Fuel down, Blair/Brown didnt, Its the same old Budget Fodder, Beer,Ciggs,Fuel, Road Tax and some stipid Tax you cant understand, never changes,If the price of Fuel is not reduced then there really is no hope, Heating oil increase of £40.00 since just before Christmas, Scam big big Scam!!!!!!!!!!
February 20 2012 at 6:38 AM Report abuse Permalink +1 rate up rate down Replybing it down and people will spend more on travelling and buying more to help the economy.
February 20 2012 at 6:17 AM Report abuse Permalink +2 rate up rate down ReplyI'm surprised Ed Balls isn't saying if he was in charge he'd be discounting fuel prices by a pound a litre or more at the next budget?
