I only go by train when I have no other viable alternative. The whole system is a joke and a total rip-off.

May 01 2012 at 4:31 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyWell yes, that's what the Tories' friends do. The NHS will be like that, if Cameron and his Bullingdon cronies get their way. If you live in London, you know which way to vote.
May 01 2012 at 4:00 AM Report abuse Permalink +1 rate up rate down Replyas every one of these companies either got or had their licence extended under Labour your `Tories friend` comment looks a bit stupid. thankfully i dont live in London, but any one voting for the Pro islamic terrorist supporter livingstone would confirm that it is a city full of idiots( as the rest of the country already believes)
May 01 2012 at 6:04 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down Replyeast coast are the only company to give full refunds why cos its a state owned company at the moment national express took the francise from gner then failed to deliver its now run ny the state as all the railways should be
May 01 2012 at 3:34 AM Report abuse Permalink +1 rate up rate down ReplyThis is what rail privatisation brings, not only do they have no interest in improving services because we have no option but to use theirs, but they also don’t act in an ethical manner.
Look at other countries in Europe, our railways are a joke by comparison.
More important, Vouchers cannot be used for online advance bookings so can only be used against purchase of 'full price' tickets at the station! Spend £100 to save £20!!!
May 01 2012 at 3:19 AM Report abuse Permalink +1 rate up rate down ReplyNot totally true. East Coast give a full refund of the fare paid, but as a voucher, for any delay over 60 minutes
May 01 2012 at 2:10 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyEvery time i have been delayed for more than 2 hours all you receive are national rail vouchers,so it is not a refund as you can't cash them in
