Asda cutting fuel prices again

The price of a barrel of oil is half what it was a year ago so why not a 70p reduction?

its ok to buy fuel when its cheaper at supermarkets, but in summer months you'll find part of your fuel is made up of bio fuel, 1 specific 'every little helps' supermarket actually states this on their forecourt, cos i've read it, if you want real miles from real fuel for your hard earned real money, purchase it from real fuel stations, few pence more, but few miles more too, but at least you're getting what you've paid for, another sure sign of this is, in this store is, everytime the fuel increaces in price, so does the cooking oil, just to make sure you don't attempt to use it for fuel yourself.

I have asked this before but never get an answer, so one more time. If the price of individual grocery items is the same store to store, then why is fuel different around the country? It couldn't be that ASDA and all the others are trying to rip us off could it? After all, the overheads must be the same store to store and fuel stations are most usually attached to the stores, so why the difference town to town?

We don't want a load of pensioners on the road slowing us maniacs down!! Joke!

i am pleased to see fuel prices falling i hope they stay down it will help the pensiorers to get out and about a bit more well done to asda for taking the lead and the prices stay down

I find this hard to believe since my nearest Asda is the same as Waitrose and Tesco at £141.9 thats in Cheltenham

I always laugh at these stories, They put the price of fuel up by 70p over a few years, then we get these headline grabbing news that fuel price drop by 2p, Pathetic.

Ill probably get battered on line so here goes ! Ok Asda is cheaper for fuel ( but nothing else ! food wise) but I find I get more MPG in my Diesel Punto at Shell which ok is a couple of pence dearer but if im happy then thats ok .. Asda seem to have a lot of crud in their fuel were told apparently its the dregs from the tankers no one else wants ....go on then ..hit me !
