House prices will fall even further in the next few years, due mainly to the continued free movement of labour from eastern Europe, which will keep wages down. I believe house prices could fall as much as 30% over the next 5 to 10 years. This would probably be a more realistic value. The taxation of private landlords property value, who rent to DHSS clients will also be a strong probability.
