Long may this divide continue and hopefully get wider. Why pay £2 million for a property in London (without a view) when you can buy a similar property in The Lake District (with a view) for £400/£500,000.

Perhaps people might think of buying in central Scotland where you can get really cheap houses also with a view. A view that is of the people queing up trying to get a job with a decent wage. Hence the reason many Scots will be taking the opportunity to break away from the greedy centralist grasp of London.
