They are rediculously top heavy and the top wages are obscene. A few years ago they sacked 12 frontline staff and employed 2 extra bosses which made it difficult to get the work covered. Last year whilst they slashed the frontline workers pay they gave the bosses large rises and gave early retirement to 2 with large golden handshakes. A few weeks ago they employed 16 new bosses with high wages whilst my husband has been unable to take his normal shift days off as there is no one to cover. Is it any wonder our tax bills is high and the service is crap?

still it wont effect the tories, etc with their money in tax havens, CaMoron hates ordinary people.
Flawed and perhaps even corrupt government decisions across the past fifteen/twenty years allowing mass uncontrolled immigration with no serious attemp to curb illegal immigration, all running into several million people. Have overstretched, bankrupted and destroyed services of each and every kind. Services that WE have all contributed to through taxation and NI. Having done this they then desire to take these services away from us while ensuring they are provided to law breakers and terrorists, non contributors and also expect what is left to be paid for all over again by you and I.
If were not enraged by this we damn well should be. They cock it up while making small fortunes then want us to pay for it!!
Immigration has very little to do with it. The problem is feckless gambling by the banks and the governments who allowed them to do it.

Nor would would they be short of cash if they were not spending millions deliberately jamming up the road network in the cities to create congestion, and putting road humps on "A" road and other through routes.
As I have a bad spinal problem I totally agree with all these rediculous road humps everywhere. I try everything to avoid them but it is getting to be impossible and it is very painful.

And as for going to a public leisure centre where all those common people go, as if... Who cares if these close? Our Country Club provides wonderful facilities and the old tax reduction helps us pay the subscription (not, between you and me, that we pay much tax anyway, lol) and little Johnny is doing very well at the prep school which has a good library. Everyone for themselves darling, that's what we say. And long may David and George reign over us!
June 26 2012 at 6:02 AM Report abuse Permalink +2 rate up rate down ReplyAre you mad? It is YOUR taxes and council tax that pays foour swimming pool & libraries, a great many which were actually bequeathed to cities by our forefathers with money to fund them. It also comes back to b-----y bad management of public funds and assets.
