Freebie Friday

As the Olympics comes to a close, we can prize ourselves from the sofa and remind ourselves of the things we used to do before gold became our obsession. Fortunately we have a selection of vouchers and freebies to offer you plenty of alternatives that won't break the bank.

This week we have free cinema tickets, pizza, wine and a day out.

Cinema tickets

If you're at a loose end over the weekend, and you fancy a bargain evening at the cinema then you could get two tickets for the price of one at some Vue cinemas through a myvouchercodes voucher. The deal is available until Friday 24 August, and applies to screenings of Magic Mike.

Free wine

If you're happy to sign up to receive the Carluccio's newsletter, then you'll also get a voucher for a free bottle of wine next time you dine (as long as you buy two main courses). The newsletter will also be a handy source of freebies and discounts in future, so keep your eyes peeled.

Free pizza

Kids can eat free at Pizza Hut until Sunday. You'll need a paying adult for every child, and to fill in your details on the voucher page. Then you can either print off your voucher or have it sent as a text message to show to waiting staff.

Free eyeliner

The September issue of Elle magazine has a £13.99 Jemma Kidd eyeliner on the front. That's quite a freebie with a £3.90 magazine. You'll need to sort through the magazines at the local newsagent to find your favourite out of blue, black or copper.

Free London Eye ticket

If you're travelling to London by train, you can get your hands on two London Eye tickets for the price of one. Given that an adult ticket is £18.90 it's a good saving. You'll need to print out the voucher on this site and show your rail tickets to get your hands on the second ticket.
