BELLSHELL will be paying more for insurance than a new car.
April 06 2013 at 8:02 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyI live 12 miles from the nearest town. If the bus pass is scrapped, I shall buy a small second-hand car out of equally small savings and start driving again. As I am 89, I may need someone walking in front of me with a red flag!
April 05 2013 at 6:28 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyI must be one of the lucky few in as much as I have a company pension scheme and I view the state pension as a bonus. Benefits should only be paid to people who need them, I am sure that Sir Alan Sugar does not need a bus pass or the winter fuel allowance.

My advice is think long and hard mate, we know you've made very very big mistakes in the past!!!
What a horrible man who keeps picking on our pensioners. First it was robbing them by changing their pension indexation from the RPI to CPI and now it is robing them of things they have paid for during their working life
March 17 2013 at 7:10 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyBlame Clegg not Cameron. The Lib Dems hate pensioners because so few vote for them.
April 05 2013 at 6:10 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down Replyhaving been working from 1968 to the present I do not consider a state pension to be a benefit.
March 17 2013 at 8:11 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down Replyso right NEILMMUK, well said let us all stand together and fight them, they are going to far now. you can understand why people are so mad about the gov...put people there that have had to WORK HARD not these gets that sit on there backsides all the time. they aint got a clew...............how do we start a new party.
February 19 2013 at 2:13 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyThe more i read about Uborne clegg and cameron the more i belive that a new political party needs to be started. The PPParty(The Penisoners Political Party) the majority of people have worked and paid contributions. paid NHS and Tax I have paid in since i was 15. like so many pensioners regardsless of poor or ristch and now they are being penalised becasue they saved and retained money for retirement. Typical of the Liberals and thier jelousy. We have seen all the new parties come and go but the PPP can airse adn be the strogest becasue they can make a difference purely by the numbers. So be aware Cameron ,Clegg and Osbounre change tactics Cu tback on the lavish embassies The giving funds to third world countries cut back on the whitelhall spending lets get the priorities in place. Get rid or the levels of management in civil service reduce our money helping the banks who havebeen helping them selves to the fat bonuses. instead of cutting the people who have worked hard in the steelworks and the shipbbuilding industry served in the forces what good did it do when now we are penilised. How many MPS have done any manual work. Be warned the penisoners are strong on numbers and can turn thing around
February 17 2013 at 3:43 AM Report abuse Permalink +2 rate up rate down ReplyWhy should pensioners that have worked and saved for old age keep being penalised and people that have never worked or contributed still get all the benefits.
February 14 2013 at 8:19 PM Report abuse Permalink +4 rate up rate down ReplyOh dear, what stong views!! if we do not need the money these benifits are a bonus,!
