Repayment:
Interest only*:
The above payments are for illustration purposes only. You need to consider any insurance payments that also need to be made. Please note that any changes to your mortgage, for example, as a result of changes to the Bank of England base rate (variable rates only) or any overpayments you make, may affect your monthly payments. * For interest only mortgages you need to add on the cost of repaying the capital with a repayment vehicle such as an ISA or endowment policy. Loan to value (LTV) restrictions apply.

Why the hell does everyone turn everything into an immigration issue........this is not an immigration issue. We also emigrate!

We really need houses that people can afford to buy. However the government needs to do a lot more. For a start houses should be taken out of the "free market" and should not be allowed to increase in value over and above general inflation unless there have been improvements done and then the only the cost of the improvements can be added.
The average house used to cost 3.5 times the average earnings, now it is 8 times. If we continue like this the only people that will own homes will be landlords and the rest of us will be paying massive rents out to them. In my opinion the government should set up a national building company and build and sell houses for a small profit, More people moving into new homes will boost the economy, as people will need all the things that go with a home, curtains, carpets, furniture, kitchen stuff, etc.
agree with the immigration argument to many are coming here and jumping the housing list and getting houses that the British born people should be entitled to first, also there are loads of houses lying derelict in the country but no council or government seem to want to make them habitable and let family's move in, thatcher started the rot with her right to buy scheme and labour kept it going now we cant house our own people but we can look forward to more and more immigrants coming to Britain and houses being built on green sites and areas which will flood but as long as builders are making a profit the government wont care

Stop spending our money on the population burden, sort out the burden. Deport all immigrants that are a burden to the state, especially those with big families, close borders to ALL non EU members and place strict restrictions on who comes into the country and do it NOW. Wake up Cameron, you imbecile, the ever increasing population is the major strain on our economic recovery you muppet.
