Britain should shut it door for all immigrants from any place until Britain economy recovers and it unemployed population have the jobs so scrape EU rule and regilation to allow foreign workforce into Britain. Ban Indians all together until British economy is down then may be Europe recovers and this small Europeans nations workforce numbers may fall but for now neighbouring nations grabbing jobs over British native born employee that is for sure.
Wait till the 'BARBARIANS' arrive (Bulgarians & Romanians), they'll be queuing from Sofia and Bucharest to steal these British jobs! (PS: think I'll patent that word 'Barbarians' as a joint description of our new allies-to-be, it just came to me!).

February 20 2013 at 11:48 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyIn Cornwall 100's of people apply for one job going back into the 70's when i was about 18 I can recall a dustbin man having and accident he fell back into the rear of the crusher on the truck no one was there and that was incidentally why you now have controls at the back of each truck, but before he was buried there were 400 applicants for the job. I was about 18 so that was approx 1973 so this is not news to me.

February 20 2013 at 11:18 AM Report abuse Permalink +1 rate up rate down ReplyI'm surprised at the number but not surprised to read about vast numbers applying for jobs. I must admint, I applied for a job recently with over 240 applicants for 6 positions and got the job - wouldn't want to think about 1700 people!
