Old master paintings at new fangled prices

The sales of Old Master Paintings and Drawings at Sotheby's in London recently brought in a combined total of £59,468,750.
In total 19 artist records were established, including those for Jan Brueghel the Elder, Tintoretto, Aert van der Neer and Guido Reni. So even if the stock markets and housing are all losing money, there's still cash in some people's pockets.
